We couldn’t be happeir with the results of our wedding video from Pixelab Studios. Brandon & Shana were awesome to work with and created exactly what we were imagining for our wedding video. They were very professional and responsive with all of the planning prior to the wedding. Throughout the wedding they continued to impess, capturing all of the important shots without blocking views of guests or photography. Finally, the finished product was done early & we loved it! I would definitely recommend Pixelab to future couples looking for a great keepsake from their wedding. It was definitely worth the investment.

Brandon’s visual interpretation of Gala surpassed even my highest expectations. Each frame – from concept to execution – was carefully constructed, and every shot, light, and sequence was considered both individually and within context of the entire film. His knowledge, efficiency and overall professionalism on set greatly improved the final result. Brandon is a true partner in creativity, and a master of the visual arts.
I have had the distinguished honor of having Brandon Roudebush be the director of photography on films I have been involved with. Two of which are featured permanently on my reel. He is professional, exact, and very easy to get along with. He finishes projects on time if not ahead of time and always takes a genuine interest in addressing and resolving the sometimes taxing particulars of projects. And he has a very clear camera “eye” knowing both his camera and equipment, and all the necessary tools along the way intimately. I would hire him again for projects in the future, in fact I just did for our production of the haunted house, and I would recommend him to any serious producer.
David Ogrodowski, Actor/Director
Brandon did an amazing job capturing all the aspects of the Cupid’s Undie Run, which is a big task. In just a few minutes, he was able to highlight an event that was both inside and outside, was both a party and a huge fundraiser for a serious cause… all of the things we wanted he was able to provide in a timely and professional manner.
Rachael Olbeter, Cupid's Undie Run
Brandon and his team were efficient and friendly and amazing to work with. He got the video done in a timely manner and with amazing production quality. We are very impressed with his work and his professionalism and we will recommend him to anyone.

3X7 Films Pittsburgh Filmmaking Group

3X7 Films is a Pittsburgh based filmmaking group that assembles every week to write, shoot and edit a short film. Our goal is to release a new short every week for a year (often with no script or shot list), while honing our craft and networking with other local talent along the way. The idea was conceived after Mark Duplass, the co-creator of HBO's Togetherness and numerous award-winning indie films, spoke at this year's SXSW in Austin about taking advantage of the incredible opportunities that are available to filmmakers today. We’re in a place now where technology is so cheap that there’s no excuse [...]

Greetings From Pittsburgh Gallery

In case you still haven’t heard, Pittsburgh is a beautiful city. As with my previous Pittsburgh short film “Steel City”, I wanted to showcase the beauty and diversity of the area that many might not have known existed. We have stunning architecture, a diverse culture and an abundance of awesome water fountains. After eight months and seven-thousand still images, my hope is that Greetings From Pittsburgh, along with Steel City, will help change people’s perception of the area. The images shown above were taken throughout the year of 2014 and features several iconic Pittsburgh landmarks including the water fountain at Point [...]

Gala Short Film Q&A

“Gala” is a short film that centers around a lonely writer on the night of his high school reunion. Though so far unsuccessful at getting his ‘big break’, his ex-girlfriend Faye has become an up-and-coming actress in Los Angeles. After being apart for two years, the writer imagines what it will be like to face his former love, realizing that their aspirations for fame and success have left one of them behind. Ultimately a story about image and perception, “Gala” mixes dreams with reality to create a surreal film about the boundaries of the imagination. The film has been funded on Kickstarter, [...]
